Liverpool did not deserve those three points at all - pretty embarrassing effort against a team down to 10 men
Maybe I'm just getting old but the world of soccer as a whole seems to be in a bit of a down cycle right now from a talent and star perspective.
We're way past the 1998-2010 stage where all of Italy, Netherlands, France, England, Spain etc were having Golden Generations at about the same time, and also at the tail end of the Messi, Ronaldo era that dominated 2010-2020.
Really feels like soccer is just lacking that quality right now across the board and there is a bit of a lack of star power and intrigue.
