I honestly was too scared to watch, I paid attention to the past couple of games and it went bad.

So I turned on a movie forgot about it, and opened my phone at 10:00 pm to much relief.

Being the 4th best player on a cup winner is not an insult, relax guys. My point was he wasn't going to drag the Flames to a cup himself anyway. This worked out pretty good considering the alternative.

I know right, they got lucky to hold on. Not the prettiest win I was way too nervous.

Come on dino, you know as well as I do he brings a lot more than that. He's probably the guy that made everybody believe they could do it.

Lighten up, give him some credit! I am pretty sure you do you just don't admit it!

They should give him a ring as well. And some real pizza.

Why is Sportsnet only covering the Oiler's side? Who wants to see these losers

It's in times like this I wish I was a sports journalist. "Connor, now you have finished this incredible season, adding yet another individual trophy to your collection. You must be pretty excited about this one."

Thank the hockey gods for letting the oilers come back from down 3-0 to tie series and then lose in game 7. Made it much more devastating than losing 4 straight. I love it. I will sleep like a baby tonight. My social media feeds won't be flooded with posted from casual fans telling us to cheer for the oilers.

I so completely feel you. I have been exiled here for several years now. It has been agonizing this playoffs yet, now, profoundly satisfying after tonight's result.

Wait, it gets worse! Now you're gonna get a bunch of stuff from Danielle Smith!

Jokes aside, I gotta say these two weeks of cheering for the Panthers alongside you has been a ton of fun, some of the most fun I've had as a hockey fan. Cheers to you Cali, your son, your family, and all Panther and Flames fans everywhere!

Spoiler!

I don't take it for granted at all. I was his age when the Flames won the cup, and it's been that long since a team I've actively been a fan of has been able to win it.

This is rare, this is special, this is why we all love sports.
Send me a link to your favourite charity. I’m donating 500 bucks to it. Congratulations Cali!!!!!

Sure, Connor won the Conn Smythe but who was the painter and who was the plumber in that dressing room after the game?
