With the frequent sound issues, screw-ups like this and the lack of virtually any improvements to NHL Gamecenter (until like a week ago), it's clear that Rogers spent all their money on acquiring the rights and hasn't invested a dime into improving the quality of their broadcasts.
The thing that wrinkles my brain is how little ad programming they have on Gamecenter. If they have any ads at all, it's usually one single ad they play every commercial break for the entire game. How is that possible? You really can't sell a single ad for a primetime game? I don't understand it.
I feel like a bunch of college kids could do a better job sometimes.
