The Croats got jobbed and the Spanish 'wonder' their way through again.

An over-confident English side would cause trouble. For themselves!

No Carroll after getting the go-ahead goal?

Don't act surprised. All 3 on the front are better than he.
That said, him and Theo will be the subs if we're down during the last 25.
I expect Rooney to be playing more of an AM role, working closely with Parker and Gerrard, as well as defending.

Well, it's been an interesting tournament so far. Netherlands crashing out is shocking, I thought they were a shoo in for the final.

GROUP A:

I really wanted Russia and Greece to go through. Happy for Greece, but they didn't deserve to go through. Poland did, thought they played well. Czech...eh...good for them.
Disappointed in Russia though...

GROUP B:

The group of death. Thought Portugal might be out, since both Germans and the Netherlands have better squads, but I'm really rooting for them, I think they might be a dark horse to win...you never know.

Germans will be Germans...

Horrible showing for Netherlands. So many great players, just goes to show you talent isn't everything. If the rumours are true that the "locker room" was divided, it certainly explains a lot.

Good for Denmark for making things interesting, they certainly have something to be proud of.

GROUP C:

Well, I thought Spain was going to be the 1st in the group, and I wasn't proven wrong. They have THE BEST team in the Euro, only can I see Germany dethroning Spain. MAYBE Portugal as well, but that's a big maybe.

I wanted the Irish to go through as well. Mainly, because of Shamrock Rovers. But, because of the fans as well. Best supporters so far IMO.

Italy and Croatia....what can I say...don't like either of them. Despise Croatia, so thrilled they didn't go through, however, I hate to admit it, they probably deserved to though.... Italy, because of the whole conspiracy thing. I mean, nobody knows match fixing better than Italians, and yet they had the decency to complain about the same thing! Had it been any other team than Croatia, I probably would have cheered for them to crash out. Oh well, lesser of the two evils I guess, and they do have a quality team.

GROUP D:

The least interesting group. Fully expect France (ugh) and England to go through, however I'm hoping Ukraine pulls off a miracle. Happy that Sweden is out...

Can someone explain to me, HOW a team that has Ribery, Benzema, Nasri, Ben Arfa....can play such boring football?!

Spain - Germany will be the final, most likely. And based on quality alone, a deserving final as well.

50% chance the White Pele comes in and takes over the game

50% chance he can't control himself and gets red carded 5 minutes in

Racist chants 80k fine. Commercial stunt 100k fine + 1 match ban... UEFA might need to review their order of priorities, don't you think?

The sad thing is that like FIFA they simply don't respond to criticism. They just go on paying lip service to things and cashing checks.

What? Rooney has a horrible tournament record. Hes great for England in qualifiers but when it comes to important games Rooney is notorious for disappearing.
