Absolutely, but you can only play the schedule you are given and I hate using injuries as an excuse. France is mighty good and I look forward to seeing them win at home (barring something amazing happening!)

I think Germany met expectations for the tournament and they should only be better in the future! This is likely the end of Schweinsteiger and some of the old guys. Let's hope some of the young attacking options keep developing so goals aren't so hard to come by.

Germany had the youngest starting lineup of all teams in the tournament. (For the first round at least.) They'll be fine.

Germany had nothing in the final third today (prior to this last little burst).
Lloris didn't really have to make a save in the 2nd half outside of that header in stoppage time.

Portugal ruining France's home tournament sounds about right after their home tournament was ruined.

France got lucky with the penalty calls, but you have to give them full credit for taking advantage of their luck. Well earned win eventually.
Personally I didn't expect Germany to look this good tonight, but France has played an excellent tournament and totally deserves to be in the final.

I hope it's cancelled. Send in the Russians and English to beat the piss out of each other before.

Would have liked to see France-Italy at some point in this tournament, think it would have been a good match up.
France-Portugal should be decent - France probably the best team overall in the tournament vs Portugal who still has one of the 2 best players in the world.

Well I'm behind by one point in my pool and I expect the guy in first to pick France, so guess I'm cheering for Portugal.

			Gutted. Absolutely gutted.
Germany was the better team, but France played that to perfection. 2 German mistakes = 2 goals.

Clear penalty. He was supermanning towards the ball with his hand directed towards the ball. That's a nobrainer and stonewall penalty.
Muller was absolutely useless. Rooney had a better tournament!

For the German fans, now you know what's it's like to watch a van Gaal United.

Well, this tournament has come to a fairly lame conclusion. I don't think I will make any effort to watch the final in Vegas. I know most people disagree, but the 2 best teams are out and the championship will be won by a team that will have only beaten 1 good team.

I really don't get why people have been so down on France. IMO they've been clearly one of the best teams and among the favourites to win since day 1.

Germany was good, but if you can't score you can't win.

I'm guessing Clattenburg is a shoe in to get the final on Sunday and if so no one would begrudge it to him. He's been solid in any games he's reffed.
If so will round off a remarkable year for him, having done the CL and FA cup finals.

Not interested in this final whatsoever.
If someone put a gun to my head and told me to cheer for a team, it would be France. I can't cheer under any circumstance for Whine-aldo. Especially after they went 0-3-0 in the group stage the 0-2-0 in the round of 16 and quarter.

Which sucks because I like Modric and Kroos on Real.
