Last night was his last episode of his 4 episode arch.

Great episode tonight. So many laughs. It was awesome to see the cast doing a great job together without a main star. The ending with Creed... so perfect, laughed so hard.

Can't wait for Gervais in the final episode. I've been watching the British version lately, I'm hoping for a bomb of an interview the way only David Brent can.

Are there 2 episodes left, or just the finale. I think the finale is an hour long anyway so I think that's all.

One hour finale next week.
It'll likely be split into 2 half hours so it can air in 2 parts in syndication.

Well, the cameo appearances were all duds imo... I hope Dwight is made the Manager. I thought last week's episode was the best in a long time.

I thought James Spader was pretty good in the episode, was disappointed with Gervais though.
Creed stole the show though, he was great as manager.

It was bound to happen with how they have set up the show over the years sadly.
Jim never wanted to work at Dunder Mifflin, and assumed there would be no way he'd stick around for long. Also Michael has said a few times that he used to be just like Jim; now Jim will be just like Michael.
Dwight should become the manager imo. One of the reasons I loved the British version is that Gareth was promoted to manager, and not Tim. But, it's not that shocking that the American version would promote the cookie cutter boring straight man.

Honestly, I don't overly care who becomes manager, as long as there are more Jim-Dwight pranks because that was the highlight of the show for me.

That wasn't my impression at all. I thought it was set up for Catherine Tate with an outside chance of Dwight.

I liked Romano's cameo. Spader's was the best though. Love that guy.
"Stop trying to figure me out!"
"I already did."

I'm just glad they got rid of Gabe, and wrapped up the "is Erin Phyllis's daughter" storyline so quickly.
I thought Spader was the best of the outsiders they interviewed. I didn't like the British woman.
I wonder if the producers even know who the new manager will be yet?
