Maybe it is that 90% of their listeners were from CP (at least it would seem like it from this thread).
We may not listen to FM all the time, but when we do, we listen(ed) to Fuel 90.3

I have one of those radio's in the shower and I knew it was big trouble when I flipped on the Fuel last Sunday and I heard Britney Sprears one song then followed up by Miley Cyrus! I no longer have a radio in my shower, it's broke!

Hey, I used to listen to Mix1060. I have a long history of picking loser radio stations.
I think I'll take the advice from this thread and try CJSW, CKUA and CBC2 more often.

I'm amazed at how passionate people are on this forum once it comes to radio stations...and how gracious contributors are in understanding the fact that there is a human being with real feelings behind every microphone. I have a great deal of respect for all of you. Thank you. I will miss Calgary very much. It is and will always be my favorite city in Canada.

And I also notice on that site that Ross ended up in Lethbridge as the Music Director Program Director.
Is going from a morning drive-time personality in a big market to a PD/MD in a smaller market a step up, down, or lateral move?

PD/MD is a good gig, if you can get it in the right market. Lethbridge is one of those "right" markets to get experience to get back into the major markets.
