I got killed today. 5/9.
I was going to pick Hextall but I couldn't remember if he was an actual great goalie or just a lunatic.

Seeing as there was the Vezina column, I thought I’d try answering with all goalies
Managed to do it, but the left column took a bit of extra effort

When Carolina comes up, do you think David Ayres will count?

Absolutely David Ayres would count as a goalie who played a game in the NHL.

He would count as having played a game for Carolina, but since he hasn't played for any other teams, he won't be of any use in this game unless there's a "Played only one NHL game" category.
Come to think of it, that would be an interesting category. Although, I can't imagine many people being able to think of one-gamers for every team off the top of their heads.
- David Ayres = Carolina
- Brent Krahn = Dallas
- Jordan Sigalet = Boston

Maybe a stats one, like career GAA or GA or Save Percentage

I struggle with this game when any of the expansion teams post-1994 pop up. I managed to fill out a complete set of nine players, but it took a looooong time to fill out the top left, middle and bottom-middle cells...

Right. He hasn't played for any other teams, so he's useless for anything other than stats like getbak said. Career or single-season GAA >4.00, save % less than or equal to .800, etc.

Several goalies on the one-game-played list. Two I remember in advance of the expansion draft in 1992: for the Blackhawks, Ray LeBlanc, and for the Flames, Scott Sharples.
Also remember Mike Minard for the Oilers; he got the win vs. the Flames in Grant Fuhr's last game in 2000.

Fun one today with a Flames theme and a few options for 50 apples.

Are you pulling these out of the old memory bank or doing some online “research”? If it’s the former those are some nasty pulls, if it’s the latter, I personally don’t feel this is in the “spirit” of the game.
