Only if Philly is retaining a boatload on Sanheim's contract. Trade down to eat that contract? That would be a fail. Even if they managed to move Hanifin for #13, I would call that trade down a fail.

The only way that makes sense is if Hanifin to Buffalo for 13+, then the pick swap.
So in effect you're getting Sanheim, the 22 + moving up slightly for Hanifin and 16.
Not a bad play if it works.

If they can send Hanifin to Buffalo for say Krebs and #13, then move #16 for Sanheim and #22 I'd be pretty happy with that
Get a guy who is a very good top 4 dman who you have to think would be proud to wear the jersey as a western Canadian kid who played for the Hitmen
