Jarnkrok looks great. Decent speed, very much a north south game, decent passer on the go, and just generally clever/sneaky. Got a lot of moxy. Just seems like a no brainer to have a guy like this on your team.

The Canucks are lucky it isn't at least 5-0. The Flames woofed on a couple of big scoring chances.

First the faceoff, now the shot. I think we've got ourselves a switch-hitter here.

It worked for Gordie Howe!

There are the Flames I know and love. Relentless and coming in waves, shift after shift. It could be 8 -0 easily.

People here frequently say "this could be a blowout already"

But this is the first time I will say, this was a hair away from being 5 or 6-0.

CJ should play with a straight blade.

Demko is the only reason this game isn't 7-0.

That was pure chaos in the Canucks zone that whole period.

Hell of a 1st period. Absolute domination.

Watching on CBC app and the commercial line up is hilarious.

Commercial 1: Upguys ED webshop.
Commercial 2: subway promoting their new and improved bread with long camera panning shots over all 12 inches of their bread.

Absolutely dominant period by the Flames. They look like a team possessed.

Now they just have to keep their foot on the gas. Don't give the Canucks anything.

Domination so far. The new lines look like attack mode is engaged! Each line is generating, and it could've been 5-0 if not more.

I was advocating for trying Tkachuk with Backlund for a while now, so glad they're having success together, so I can pat myself on the back. I hope that they're kept together for a while now, and keep getting great looks.

Canucks should call it a game now and wait out the deadline.
