You could see Giordano leaning in with body for an obvious check attempt, while watching the puck, ended up only striking the knee. So obvious by his movement and the fact he wasn't looking for the knee that there was no intent.

Builds a roster full of d-bags and has the nerve to call one of the more classy players in the league dirty. I get that he's upset that he lost a good player and have no issue with him calling the hit dirty but calling Gio out as a dirty player is preposterous especially given the Ducks roster he's built over the years. I have no respect for Bob Murray after listening to these crybaby comments. As always the big bully turns into a big baby when they end up taking more bruises than they are used to.

What have the Flames possibly demonstrated to show they can get over that hump?

They look like a shell of a team against the Ducks. The team has taken steps forward this year but I don't see any gap we've closed on the big skilled core of the Ducks.

Normally I'd agree and say yes - but the Honda curse survived intact the last playoff series that we swore would break the curse.

I'd say rest all your key players vs. SJS and pray Nashville can beat Winnipeg.
