I hope to god they do but I dunno, they play like that first period again and they're screwed. Any other team and that game is down 4-1 end of first and a completely different story. They NEED to show up for Arizona which just crushed San Jose tonight.
Indeed, agreed.

Calgary Flames @NHLFlames
FYI: Tonight's win ties a franchise-record in single-season road victories with 22! #CGYvsEDM
I predict we set the record next Saturday.

Is it true some fickle Oiler fan tried to snatch the heart sign away? Heard some people on Twitter claiming they saw it, and a guy named Ben who apparently was the one who did it. The person holding the heart sign apparently called it bush league of him to steal it away like that.

it all gets very confusing with the snatching away thing.

I think it is fact that the holders of the sign (well done J pold) do in fact "heart" Kevin Lowe. why risk life and limb otherwise? it isn't sarcasm either, perhaps ironic, but let's agree that they like Kevin lowe.

oilers fan snatches it away. is that jealousy because he wants to show that he "hearts" Kevin Lowe too? is he saying, "hands off" Kevin because he belongs to us? or is it just someone that doesn't like another set of fans liking someone?

or is the snatcher "ruling" or "policing" what people say? surely oiler tier 1 fans treat others with a bit of respect, especially since people were in the seats that other oiler tier 1 fans didn't want.

if snatcher wants Kevin to stay, he should make his own sign. snatching tells me that he does in fact want Kevin to stay and doesn't want other fan bases to cheer or heart him. which, ironically, the sign actually says and snatching says "no cheering for our guy" in case he goes.

if snatcher wants Lowe to go, then wouldn't you leave the sign alone?

as the song says, "isn't it ironic".

Very much true. I've since responded on twitter: Suck it Ben

Thats Lowe of the Oilers fan to do that. You don't see Flames fans snatching the paper bags off of the Oiler fans faces, do you?
