Boring Sean Monahan @boringmonahan · 10m 10 minutes ago I told David Schlemko that I would have fell if I tried that shot and he said you should try it because it would be funny.

Been a rough physical week at work. Got home and fell asleep for hours.

Woke up and turned the game on and only saw, Jooris scores, Ramo save, then the Schlemko! Then for the next few minutes I had to make sure I was actually awake, and not dreaming lol.

Can someone make a gif of the skittles commercial with arm wrestling for shootouts? "Let's settle this the usual way!"

Rambo with a spectacular performance. When I saw Schlemko come out for the shootout I shook my head. 'Hartley knows we're gonna lose, must just want to see what he can do'. And he fulls a f'ing Forsberg move. Awesome. Immediate fan favorite! Gutsy win overall, especially considering it's yet another night where we get no help from any other team in the standings.

How come we always sign the most GIFworthy UFAs like Jokinen and Hudler?

Pretty exciting game and good win. I was happy that Gaudreau scored a goal in front of his former coach and some BU players. Sad to see David Jones going down after the shot. He's been playing well lately and now he might miss some games. Ramo played well again. I think he made one mistake all night but he bailed himself by making that great save on Ericksson. I can't fault him on Boston's third goal because Drew Shore lost his man and he ended up pushing Ramo out of position. Shore made the mistake but I am sure he'll learn from it. I am very impressed with our defensemen the past 3 games. Hudler been playing well also. As for the Bruins, Marchand played well against the Flames but that bonehead tried to hit Gaudreau knee-on-knee but failed. I think he is a good player and there is no need to be play dirty.

After the game Hrudey and Ball was talking about Ramo. Hrudey was thinking Hartley should give Ramo a rest tomorrow night vs Detroit and play him on Sunday. I think I have to disagree with Hrudey. Hartley should ride Ramo's hot streak. I don't think you mess with it. Ramo played well on the back-to-back road game before and he seems to be enjoying his increase starts.

15 blocked shots and 32:22 ice time. Russell was a beast tonight.

Sean Kelso @kelsohockey
Since they began recording blocked shots, no NHL player had more than 12...until @NHLFlames blue-liner Kris Russell registered 15 tonight!

That's Bouma behind him.

Watching it again, Russell turns to Hartley and Hartley gives a bunch of excited "you're right" points at Russell.
