Sanders is still hurt so he might return kicks or punts plus he'll be the backup RB maybe for another game.

A RB duo of Cornish and Charles would be filthy.
I like Walter but I feel it'll still take him a few years to fully come into his own.
Cornish didn't get real good until his late 20's, I could see the same path for Walter (don't see him being "Cornish" level good though).
But a 1-2 punch of Cornish/Charles would be deadly. Charles played a real good game against Hamilton and he seems like a really good guy with the right attitude, hopefully he can find a good role on this team.

I have a feeling the Stamps new jersey is going to have the horse logo on the front with the small numbers up near the shoulder, similar to the Argos and Bombers.

Don't think it will be just the horse logo though.
They are calling it the "outlaw"
It will be the horse/crossed gun logo.

Still sucks:
Vicki Hall@vickihallch2m
Sounding like Jeff Fuller will not require surgery on his shoulder. Good news but still expected to miss a month.

Personally, i think having the logo on the front of the jersey like they're doing in hockey and the Argos jersey is progressing it in the right way.
Not sure why they had big numbers on both front and back to start
Is it really that hard to ID a player?

24 players on the field at one time and they all end up near the football. I think for the refs and coaches it is important

Could've been much worse but I bet he tries to get back for the Labour Day Rematch.
I just want to see the Stamps full lineup at some point.
WR:
Price, Fuller, West
SB:
McDaniel, Lewis, Parker, Sinopoli
RB:
Cornish
Charles
Walter
Sanders
Along with a fully healthy O-line. That's a ton of weapons.
Also looking at the Chargers depth chart it looks like Cordarro Law is in tight to make the team, perhaps he comes back to Calgary?

Good for Joe, Offensive Player of the Week:
http://www.stampeders.com/article/we...of-week-140826
Quote:
West led all CFL players last week with 129 receiving yards as he recorded the third 100-yard game of his career. Two of his four receptions on Sunday came on spectacular plays that covered long distances — a 58-yard catch in the third quarter and a 51-yarder in the fourth quarter.
West has been the Stamps’ leading receiver in each of the past two weeks and he leads the CFL with an average of 24.4 yards per reception.
The receiver’s performance on Sunday was a courageous one as it came hours after he learned his younger brother had been the victim of a fatal shooting in Magnolia, Ark. After some deliberation, West decided to play and he dedicated the game to his brother’s memory.
“From the bottom of my heart, I thank my teammates for their love and support at this difficult time,” said West. “I also want to thank all the fans for their prayers and condolences. You’ll never know how much your kind words have meant to me.”

I wish a speedy recovery for Jeff Fuller, but Sederrik Cunningham looked great against the REDBLACKS.

Gord Miller on the Stamps / REDBLACKS broadcast commented that the designers of the new uniforms did not have broadcasters in mind when they designed them because they were having a hell of a time identifying the individual REDBLACKS players during the game. I would tend to agree from a fan perspective as well. That's why football jerseys have typically had huge numbers on both the front and back.

Josh Gordon and Stamp's news
Quote:
Albert Breer @AlbertBreer · 35m
Per Murphy, the Stampeders put the request into the CFL to add Josh Gordon to their negotiating list this morning. Were granted that.

Murphy told me that Gordon's agent Drew Rosenhaus is trying to work with the Browns, the NFL and the CFL to make this happen.

Stamps have moved DB Quincy Butler from suspended list to practice roster. I'm sure Huff will address this after practice today. #CFL

CFL doesn't suspend for marijuana. The CFL just wont allow a player under contract with the NFL play up in Canada.
If the Browns release/allow him to play then he can.
Lets hope they can work something out!
