same thing as so many people choosing Bale or VdV
Bale played a few games at LB last season, so he is technically a defender, VDV is basically a 2nd striker but he is a midfielder

Liverpool have way too many midfielders right now. They will be selling some I'm sure but I haven't heard of them wanting to sell maxi. POulsen,Cole will likely be gone. Some rumors of merilies going but he was so solid last year I'd be doubtful

I just got back.. will do the results tonight. Need to catch up.
Beerfest, get a team in over the next few days and you're in  I need a 30th team anyways. You replace the BYE that Vennegor got.
Dagger got Drogba and Downing in before the deadline..he still needs another striker though which will count for next week.
Jagger still needs a midfielder.

OK it's corrected. I also missed another Liverpool conceded goal so diane_phaneuf gets another goal.
