I don't see why Glaus would be in trouble, you can't really punish a guy for something that "may" have occured 3 years ago.

Maybe instead of reporting who is on steriods in MLB, they should just announce players that have been proven to be clean? Might save us all some time?

You could imagine that having his career tarnished and image destroyed could be percieved as "trouble".

At least I would.

Well unless there is some sort of a statute of limitations then with enough proof MLB could still suspend Glaus.

Given how well he's played this year, that might be a good thing for the Jays.

Great logic rico. Everyone is doing it, so that makes it ok? Is there any surprise your avatar is the poster-boy for the steroid era? His chemically enhanced melon barely fits inside the box. Who cares? I care - and these athletes should care, when they all start dying prematurely in their 40s and 50s.

If we are going to be consistent, we should be just as outraged at Glaus as we are with Bonds.

And why does the NFL avoid the scrutiny? Steroid abuse is probably much worse in the NFL.

where did i say it's ok?

all i'm saying is that all the shock and dismay that results each time these things are reported are a bit much. ball players who have cheated will continue to be exposed, and i just don't see it as a huge deal any more - they didn't all cheat, but in one way or another a relatively large number of them did.

Who needs statue of limitations.

Steroids weren't illegal until 05.

Weren't steroids always illegal under criminal laws? Baseball just had no rules against it until 2005. Baseball probably has no rules against murder either, but that does not mean players have the green light to kill people.
