A wonderful talent that rarely gets mentioned among the great singer/songwriters of our time but deserves to be right up there.

Caravan stays in my Ipod rotation at all times. Dr. Johnny Fever hooked me on it after an episode of WKRP.

Yeah, I saw him when he performed here in Edmonton not that long ago. His voice is still quite good. Ticked me off a bit though that he didn't play my favourite song "Into the Mystic"...

I love the version of Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd where Van Morrison sings with them. It was used in The Departed movie.

His most under-rated album is a double live album from the mid 1970s called It's Too Late To Stop Now. Van is at his best live, and this album has some of the best versions of his older classics. It's now available on CD.

"Everyone" is a good song. I remember it from "The Royal Tenanbaums"

I LOVE Van Morrison. My personal favourite would be I'll be your Lover too. Very soft and romantic, so it's not usually everyone's cup of tea.
Other goodies would be Tupelo Honey, Crazy Love, Into the Mystic, And it Stoned me, and Sweet Thing. All good ones.
