Mildly relevant, yesterday I pulled up to a three bay car wash. The one on the right had a minivan with all the doors open, being vacuumed, still unwashed exterior. Looked like a company vehicle with stickers. The middle bay had a White Tundra that just pulled in, and the guy hadn't gotten out to get started. Third was a Highlander full of people, being cleaned by a lady, and all the mats on the wall for washing. She was using the scrub brush on the vehicle at the time.

Which one did I choose, and did I win?

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I would have got behind the Tundra but that’s the biggest risk/reward choice for sure.

When you go to a bagel shop and all the plain ones are gone, but there’s a pile of sesame seed ones. It should be a signal to the bagel store to make more plain ones and less sesame.

Who even likes sesame? Might as well just open a jar of sesame seeds and sprinkle them all over the counter and toaster oven.

Kind of like how the sprinkled donut is always the very last one left when someone brings a box of Tim Hortons donuts into the office. Sometimes it just gets thrown away as it seems that there are few people that will even eat it for free.

I will pick the wrong one every time. Confounding how to pick that. MiniVan guy who hates his wife and carwashing is an escape or car guy who loves his car.

I wish you could pay more to reserve a car washing bay.

Same with haircuts. You reserve but wait 20 minutes anyway.

People who are late can lick sack.

Why does the coconut one even exist? Cinnamon one is always the last one. I get honey glaze and Crullers only.

We stopped at some roadside place in Maui. The old lady chops the head off the coconut. Neat. Kids get the milk. They hated it. Exactly.

Does the honey glazed remind you of your games of soggy biscuit

I chose the Highlander, and won. My thinking was obviously the company vehicle was a black hole of time. The Tundra seemed the obvious choice, but being new, and large it had a lot of area to clean and the guy probably cared. it's a Tundra, not a RAM.

For the Highlander the mats were carpet, so done first, and drying. The people inside would handle placing the mats, so she wouldn't be fiddling with each one. They may also be inpatient, unlikely for her to be there for 15 minutes.

The scrub brush over dirt was a sign this wasn't being done for any concern of vehicle appearance or care, perhaps she had been told to use the brush, so she was. 30 more seconds of that, a quick spray, hands the mats back, and it was my turn in about 3 minutes total.

I couldn't see what the Tundra guy was doing when I pulled in, but his tailgate was still dirty and untouched at the time. I guess I'm better at this than the grocery store, which always goes wrong.

You, sir, are a philistine. Bagels have been topped with sesame seeds ever since they were in invented in Poland in the early 17th century. Also, sesame seeds are objectively delicious (bagels, tahini, sesame bars, sesame dressing, ramen broth, etc, etc).

But the CRV is going to try to turn left after the turn lane fills up.

Not the BMW because they're probably turning and don't have their turn signal on, as usual.

Lane placement is paramount, although the answer is NEVER the RAV4. Also, license plates; anything with an 0- is a losing bet.

The BMW may be last off the line but they'll surge ahead quickly once they realize they're losing the race the other two cars weren't aware they were all participating in. Assuming I haven't witnessed anything to tell me otherwise, I would pick the BMW.

The plain ones weren't gone.

They don't carry plain ones because they didn't expect any tasteless losers to wander in from the homeless shelter.

You should be killed.

Again got stuck behind one of these dumb bitches turning right who are so scared they need to wait until all 3 lanes are clear before they even budge. It's not like there was a large gap, the turning lane was empty, wide open and they just sat there. I actually pretended to hit them at one point, wish I had a cowpusher on my front bumper.

Yeah there does seem to be an increase in right turning drivers that take absolutely forever to declare the coast is clear when there’s nobody coming.

No, it is not. Cinnamon raisin bagels are, in themselves, an abomination. Butter is a perfectly acceptable bagel topping however (though inferior to cream cheese, smoked salmon, onions, capers, etc). Arguably, the greatest way to eat a bagel is drunk, in the wee hours of the morning, warm out of the bagel oven, and unadulterated by any topping at all.
