DrySaddle back for playoffs, no surgery. Gotta ask…. What kind of cap penalties were they facing for next season had he played every remaining game?? Any at all?

I don't think any. Don't think this really helps them avoid any cap issues in anyway.

Not even if all bonuses are paid? I thought they had this happen a couple times recently. Could be way off, just looking for more things to laugh at.
Edit: I know so little about this I don’t even know where to start, or I’d have just looked into it.

I could be wrong but I thought bonuses only applied to ELC contracts or over 35 contracts. But I might be thinking two CBAs ago.

I think he is talking about bonuses to other players (ELC and +35s) that would have taken them over the cap with Draisaitl's salary included.
However, those situations are usually addressed by penalties in the next season.

San Jose absolutely blew it, but the 5 on 5 xGF, xSCF, and xHDCF were all approximately 60/40 in favour of San Jose.
So the Oilers relied on some PP momentum to beat another non playoff team, parade back on?

Sharks may have just lost their opportunity to catch the Oilers. They face Buffalo tomorrow which is likely a loss as well..

Sharks not a good team. We just embarrassed them too. Terrible defensively.

Yeah, 2 out of 3 games Calgary (!) exposed their defence.
They should have made a big play for a Whitecloud at the deadline. I bet they address it off season.

601 goals and 1301 points. Each! Even better than the last anointed prospect!

I like the nhl visualizer because it shows a lot of things that you can’t see on camera.
https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/fla-v.../19/2025021089
Here’s Mavi skating towards his own net on the first goal and yet somehow everyone else is skating faster than him.
Here’s the second goal where he is so far behind the play that he and bobo are the only players in the cats’ zone. The bridesmaid barely makes it to his own bench in time to avoid the minus.
I just can’t see how anyone can enjoy playing with this no personality selfish player.

Thanked for doubly appropriate usage of ‘oleaginous’.
