If Leon is out for the rest of the regular season (Rumor) The Oilers better learn how to play some decent defense, though to be honest the teams chasing the Oilers have for the most part been playing some pretty uninspiring hockey.

I doubt that the Oilers send Jarry for a mental Health break. Its more then likely that they will find a reason to put him on LTIR, tell him to go home, that he can't play for the Oilers anymore and collect his pay and shut up. And they'll buy him out of the rest of his contract.

Ha-Ha!

But tbh a lost season due to injuries to one of their golden twins was well overdue.

That team hasn't anywhere near the misfortune or adversity of other teams that have tried to compete.

They've had the stars align and red carpet rolled out for them for two years straight.

May whatever remains of their "window" go up in smoke.

It's funny he went out just after the TDL when they could have tried to get some help and used LTIR. Of course, they'd have to rejig for the Pos but still.

Jarry is basically buyout proof. He makes $5.375 a year for the next two. If they buy him out, it would cost them $4,708,333.....$4,208,333....$458,333....$458,333 over the next four years. They'd be better off putting him in the minors as they would get more relief.

Maybe they Tonya Harding his knee and put him on LTIR.

Also a face-saving move given the disaster of a season they've had. Maybe McDavid gets an "ow-ie" too now.

SJ is 5 points back with 3 games in hand, LA isn’t too far behind either. There’s still 14 games left for Edmonton to lose this year, fingers crossed!
