I'm glad the flames did their part by beating the oilers 3 times

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

i've said it before... i'd love for the oilers to miss by 1 point so i can point out to my buddies that are oiler fans that if their would have won the shoot out in game 1 of the season against the flames they would have made the playoffs!

Apparently there’s chatter in shelbyville that Jarry could be sent down for a conditioning stint for mental health. Mental health is important, but to do that they would have to put him on LTIR first.

They can send him down for 14 days without putting him on LTIR, but he would continue to take a roster spot and count against the cap.
