They probably should have gone with Joe though. He's impossible to work with. There's a good chance these guys will be right back at tribal next week though, so they can punt him then.

I missed Joe's season but he seems like a straight forward player when it comes to allegiances and social strategy. Honestly he should be on Beast games as that seems to be the type of people on that show. He would do well I'd bet. Albeit not that interesting to watch at home on the couch though.

Enemy and adversary mean the same thing, and even if his point was some sort of 'once an enemy always an enemy' thing, it was still a really dumb way to say that.

Two other players that I greatly disliked in the past, Genevieve and Q, have seemed more likeable this time. I gotta agree with Q that people being so lazy around camp would drive me nuts. I'm sure both players will eventually remind me why I disliked them in the past, but for now they seem ok.

Regarding my picks, Devens has had a lot of screen time, but that has a lot to do with his tribe being bad. His hiding a fake idol at tribal is awesome and I hope there is a payoff. Charlie hasn't been in it much, but his whole tribe's screen time has been dominated by coach. That tribe seems quite strong and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't lose a member for a while. Under the radar and on a strong team is a great way to play the first half of this game.

So I watched Survivor at the very beginning then stopped and picked it up again at season 46 so I don't know a lot of the players. I don't get coach at all, clearly missing a lot of background on him ahah but eye rolls from the other do tell a lot. I did laugh at his quote as well. He's had a bunch of quotes that sound deep but really are empty platitudes.

Q had a line this week that was something along the lines of "I had a moment of clarity" and I thought uh oh, Q is thinking he is using his brain, everyone look out ahah.

I am liking Rick for sure. He wants chaos, he wants moments, he wants an interesting season 50. Need of more of that for sure. I know it's early and I am getting impatient but I would like to see the game given a shot in the arm. This Billie Eilish boomerang idol, hard to understand the impact of this one.

Q is just so unpredictable, and I don't think we've seen it come out yet this season, but it will come out at the worst time.

Christian's calling had some good, some bad. Q leading was a bad decision, that guy is confused enough without a blindfold on.

When they have a clear path, they should say "5 paces, clear ahead fast!" or something they discuss beforehand, so the blindfold person isn't worried about beaning themselves.

Good to see Q gone, that guy could never win anyway. He'd probably hand his spot to a jury member in the final tribal.

Ha very true. Another reason to get rid of him. He is always the volunteer, the first to put his hand up, the first in the challenge. Poor strategy a lot of the time with him and probably hard to work with that as well.

Haha it was cheesy for sure. I think he is best host out there though. He knows how to get people talking and isn't afraid to push people to get more out of them which I appreciate. Not sure if you watched Beast Games but there was a Survivor cross over and it really showed what a real host looks like.

Last night delivered a classic blindside, with Mike White getting voted out after a chaotic post-swap Tribal Council. Mike tried to take control of the vote and shift the target onto Angelina, but it completely backfired when Christian Hubicki flipped the script. In a tight and messy vote, he was sent home 3-2-1, marking one of the first truly strategic blindsides of the season.


With Mike's vote, belsarius and savardandjokinen are the first to be voted off the CP Island.

Sad that all the interesting names are going early. I would hope Q and Mike get another chance, I loved seeing them out there again. Please no more of Emily Flippen, she's terrible at the game. Her immediately telling Ozzy that Mike was gunning for her was hilariously awful. I was hoping we wouldn't get a other loser tribe in 50, but I can't see Vatu winning any challenges.

Also we skipped the Zac Brown felatio. There was no need to devote half the episode to him. Best reward ever lol... Yeah some country singer encounter is better than a car. Mr. Beast will be even worse.
