Yeah, ultimately that will likely determine whether or not we get to a 3rd set, but I have a pet peeve regrading the announcing crew. Several times today Sabalenka has been very lucky with her shots yet they seem to be reluctant to say it was lucky. You can tell by the expression on her face that she knew she got away with something. It's not a big deal, just one of those things I find irritating.

Sabalenka wins 7-6 6-4, but that was a fine showing by Vicky. Just needs to clean up the double faults. Up to 5th in the WTA finals race, that's incredible.

Only during the tiebreaker did Mboko look like a 19yo vs the world #1
Otherwise she went toe to toe, and didn't get the breaks she maybe deserved

Yeah, I wonder if they asked her and she declined. Regardless, it's nice to have options and Marina has played well at the BJK Cup in the past and you could make an argument that she's playing better tennis than Leylah these days. Pleased to see Bianca on the team as well. As for Gaby and Kayla, they are our two best doubles players.

I don't think that was hindrance by Draper just now, but he knows he lied in Cincinnati versus FAA when he shanked the ball into the ground and pretended he hit it clean so in my eyes what goes around comes around.
