I would not at all be surprised if the ground work has already been laid and Coleman gets traded in the off season, maybe at the draft.

Retention was always part of the deal as I said earlier this morning.
Came down to how much they wanted to agree to and 50% was never on the table based on the offers they received.
This deal at 20% came together just today, can’t be mad at it.
The best part is we’ve acquired all this draft capital and have some really nice pieces to do it again next year!
Conroy confirmed they had more offers that were pick based for both Coleman and Whitecloud but wanted to keep both as leaders who want to be part of the rebuild. Makes perfect sense as there’s no rush to trade either of these guys.

Seems to me Frost is a decent 3C who has been forced to play too high up the lineup. With the general high demand for centres, I think he fetches a 2nd at next year's deadline with some retention.
