Right now, Utah's 2026 1st rounder is 18th overall. If that spot holds (or gets better), that pick is terrific leverage to have in moving up higher with our own pick, especially if our own pick ends up being top five.
On a side note, I'd chuck all the rumoured return aside from Maata (Beaudoin, Lamoreaux, 2026 1st, whatever) if it meant we simply landed Desnoyers straight up. What a homerun that would be.
