I felt it was kind of necessary after how jarring and violent the last episode was. The "nothingness" of the episode really did a good job of showing the effect of post battle trauma.

Every story needs it's denouement, solid final episode.
They've done a great job of making me care about the characters. I look forward to following their adventures.

The opening/closing scenes of the finale gave some good laughs.

Great show, and just what the GOT universe needed.

I suppose getting too grand-scale would go against the grain of small scope of the story but I hope there are some bigger adventures ahead for them in season 2.

I'll be too impatient to wait for the show to come back so I'll probably dive into the the source material in the meantime.

Reading Fire & Blood was interesting after HOTD season 1, but it was pretty somber and dense with the historical perspective.

Sounds like these novellas will be a breeze by comparison.

Lighter fare, but really well done.

I really liked it. I couldnt get into House of the Dragon, but for whatever reason this show was gripping.

Hot D is a show about a relatively large cast of aloof and unlikeable characters that jumps through time.

Knight of the 7 Kingdoms is a show that focusses on two fairly likeable and relatable characters.

HotD works best for asoiaf lore enthusiasts who like the historical details.

For me the intrigue has become about seeing the end of the dragons and that #### Aemond getting what's coming to him.

But yeah, not a lot of endearing qualities all around with the characters.

The humanity in the story died with viserys.

Watched this start to finish on the weekend. Loved it. I hate that other stupid-ass one (House of the Dragon?). You need good characters to make a show...it's storytelling 101. This one had that in spades. House of the Dragon was hot garbage. So happy to see them doing something good with the franchise.
