I like the thought of Xhekaj across from Zayne Parekh for the rest of the year.
Hanley is awesome, but it would be nice to have a deterrent on the ice with Zayne at all times.

I don't think Kadri alone gets you power TBH. ZERO connection to Calgary.

Gutsy move for Buffalo to consider that level of shakeup at this point. They have been the best team in the NHL since early December. Not to say they shouldn’t make a big move but I would have figured any move they make would be exclusively based on futures and prospects because they have so many future pieces of high quality that they could offer.

I dont think ive watched a single sabres game unless they were playing the flames in years... anyone know how owen power has looked? Is he potentially on the trade block because of his play? Purely stat watching seems like he's having a down year compared to the 3 seasons prior...

Parekh, Brzustewicz, Power, Xhekaj, Kuznetsov, Weegar / Bahl would be a hell of D core. Scoring, intimidation, solid defense, and leadership. Not to mention Makar soon...

Talented player victim to playing behind Rasmus Dahlin. Bad spot to be in for Kekalainen as its a case of risking him tapping into his potential on another team and making you look silly. Would be a perfect target for Conroy.
