Either a pure minor league swap involving a prospect that no longer fits in longterm, or as a throw-in on a NHL deal.

I'm going to go big here and say Rory Kerins. He's a proven AHL sniper that can help another AHL team, and perhaps become an Austin Czarnik-type 'tweener.

The Flames have a boatload of incoming forwards for next season.

Assuming guys like Frk and Hunt are just now team vets who want to stick around - could see some team wanting Kirkland as emergency centre depth. But doubtful.

I'll go with Ciona. I thought he'd end up being an awesome 4th line banger, but it's not working out with Calgary and this year is really a down year (counting stats wise). Give him a fresh start and maybe get another 'second chance' player but is a right shot.

I don't think any Wranglers will be traded.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick Morton. I thought he showed well in the NHL, and a team might want to take a flyer on a depth C, that's still relatively young.

As far as prospects in the organization: Lipnski, is a good change of scenery candidate.

You do wonder if the prospect Abram Wiebe that came over in the Andersson trade could move if someone is interested in him. Could feel like a free asset that is burning a hole in your pocket

I think they have plans for Wiebe to be a big part of the bullpen blueline going forward.
