Once again Apps continue to be a scourge. Just started avion points and have 75k.

Says 15k for shorthaul but the dogcrap app but doest allow you to see the eventual cost or use the points, so you have to phone in and go thrpigh that brutal process. So after a far to long comversation with that typical language barrier.

What is the extra costs after that.

Turns out the points is essentially a 50% coupon. There is no 50% coupon here. Sigh again.

Uh yeah in Hangul they're not easy to pronounce words for grandfather/mother.

Mom/dad are easy - umma, appa.

Unlike English there are also a gigantic set of words for all your relatives.

Somehow in my family we used grandpa and grandma to distinguish paternal grandparents, and papa and nana for maternal gradparents.

I can't say I've ever thought to work up a strong opinion on what other people call their grandparents. Some of y'all need a hobby
