Can they really be much worse than some of these guys out there? Hard to get much worse.
They'll have young legs and motivation to prove themselves.

It will still take a couple of seasons. San Jose had Celebrini and Smith last season and were still garbage. Chicago has had Bedard for a few years now and are currently only one point ahead of the Flames.

Yes. Yes they can. It’s a massive jump
The Flames have a lot of legit nhl players who have shown they can play. They lack top end talent so everyone is slotted wrong. But let’s not pretend they can be replaced by a bunch of rookies right away
