Why wouldn’t I tape the game, turn off my phone, wake up at 10 and watch?
Just make sure after you record it, change the TV channel to something like Food Network, so when you turn the TV on tomorrow to access the PVR recording, you don’t get CBC showing.

Yup! Although I am going to set the alarm and try to watch live. Props for sure to everyone going out for caesars, breakfast and the game.

Most likely that we can just accept what was reported after a joint investigation at face value.
I'm just skeptical the investigation was anything more than asking a couple of players if it happened, especially considering we know how poorly national sports organizations handle allegations that are actually serious.
So no, I don't think we should take anybody's word for it when they tell us they investigated themselves and cleared all wrongdoing...(but whatever, it's not a big deal either way)

2 straight Stanley Cup finals losses, combined with a loss at the Olympics would be career defining
He appears to be having the time of his life. And who could blame him.
He will be devastated going back to his soul sucking existence in dumpsville.
He will not feel right again until he signs with or is traded to the Sharks.

Ya his interviews have been awesome. He’s had some great lines. Like we are seeing him being a real dude for the first time.

Really? I signed up in 2012, they didn't ask for any more verification than any other forum.
Yeah. I didn't have any social media at the time, so I couldn't get my level 10 security clearance. Tried again later when I had twitter, had to reply to a message on there lol.

After playing Celebrini, I bet the first thing he gonna do when he gets back to dumpsville is, "trade me, trade me now to the Sharks!"

He is just sad that it takes him 2 hours to get home from YEG.

4 Nations got him a good glimpse of how things would be on the outside, and months later he finalized his exit plan for him and the Oilers.
This experience and again being in a winning environment and around winners may accelerate that exit plan further, most especially if the Oilers falter these last 20 games.
I always enjoy hearing the different parts of life people are in for the various gold medal games…
2010 - we hosted a few friends and family and our fairly new “fancy” flat screen TV paid off big time.
2014 - we hosted fewer family and friends, but had beers, Timbits and breakfast poutine.
2026 - my 5 year old will be up for sure, McDavid jersey on (we’ve tried to persuade him, but there’s no hope). My 7 year old has back to back ringette games 2 hours away, so no beers or poutine, but we’ll be cheering loud!
Thanks.
Was hoping to find something around My Pleasant/Fraser where I could take my 3 year old.
Going DT will just be too much with him
Found a couple places saying first come, first serve seating but feels risky with him
I was doing some looking around for what places were open in Van just out of curiosity, I saw something saying Bells & Whistles on Fraser will be open. Not my first choice as a watering hole or a place to watch a game but seems pretty family friendly from my experience.

Haha, don't call them!
It's down the street from us and they will not be open. We called to check and the girl answering said they've had like 1000 calls and sounded pretty annoyed about it.
Don't know who made that list, but they seemed P'd off they got listed on it.
