Celebrini might be my favourite player.

Just so good, so talented, but plays the right way and just works so hard.

Similar to Crosby, but not as entitled as Crosby was at times at the same age.

The McDavid pass to Mackinnon will get all the love, but the first Celebrini pass out of the corner to McDavid is what creates the pressure. Most people would have thrown that around the boards to McDavid. But for Celebrini to throw that out of the corner to McDavid the way he does is what gets Finland out of sorts.

Nope. Again, every one else has been playing hero and deserve to be a focal point. Stfu with the forced Mc-felating already.

It's about the team.

That was close. But for two stupid undisciplined penalties by Finland it could have been a crushing loss.

Good gameplan by Finland but in the end talent wins the day, as it will most of the time. Not much else they could do, really.

Park the bus and hope to hit on the counter knowing 3/4 Canada centres in McDavid/MacKinnon/Bennett are all prone to cheating for offence and getting caught deep. Plus the variance that is special teams.

Order of preference

1) No medal finish
2) lose to canada for gold
3) Bronze medal finish

Ya, Kid's awesome. Glad he isn't playing in the Headhunter era, will be fun watching him keep improving.

as an aside, he was making some very very ####ing funny faces on the slow-mo replays all game lol, like a rabid dog

Several players have huge point totals in this tourney for Canada.

Celebrini has 10

After that Mackinnon has 7.
Crosby has 6.

So no that's not true.

How the fata do I work now.
I have lots of issues with our offense, but credit where credit is due:

Ristolainen has been on a crusade the whole tournament, best I've ever seen him, Mikkola has been really solid, Heiskanen - Lindell played half the game and showed why they are one of the best defensive pairings in the world... And only thing Saros could have done better is just steal the game outright by being literalky perfect.

It was a winnable game, but barely, as expected.

I would however be worried about Canada's offense too. You have so many players that would be first liners in any other team, but somehow your offense is McDavid, Macklin, MacKinnon, Marner and at times Marchand. I mean those are some awesome players, but you should be deeper than that.

Is there some rule about the letter M?

Are you really going to spend an awesome Canada win defending mcdavid?

Adjusted for age, celebrini is more impressive.

Finland was also missing their most impactful player (Barkov). He was the most valuable missing piece of the tournament. That freak injury caused so much impact this season, for Finland and the Panthers.
