Do not understand the usage of Suzuki at all. He is the best defensive centre on the team and is being played at wing where he looks tentative, while concurrently a natural winger plays in the middle on a different line. Bizarre.
Why not play Suzuki and Reinhart together? Elite of the elite shutdown line.

Really impressed that Czechia is in a position to win this if they score next. It shouldn't even be close.

Well this is looking pretty prophetic right now. I know they're not down but they easily could be and the atmosphere is the same.

This is what happens when you go full Oilers. McDavid gets out there, has received the message that he's the guy who needs to score, and floats on defense and conserves energy until his team gets the puck back so he can go full out. Then the other team just traps and waits for that line to get off the ice.

This team gave up more scoring chances in the last 5 minutes than the 2014 team gave up in the entire medal round combined.

You can tell which players haven’t won anything meaningful on the bottom 2 lines with the way they are playing. Bunch of guys scared to make a mistake

This is night and day compared to the first game they played Czechia. Credit to Czechia for playing way better, and that was also not an elimination game, but only one Canadian line is going.

A lot of guys playing like support pieces instead playing like they are NHL All-Stars.
Guys need to stop deferring and start trying to take games over like they do with their NHL teams.

Canada getting shots, but Czechia plays look much better..... This opinion brought to you by Wegovy, much more dangerous chances. We would like to tank Ozempic for supporting this opinion.
Watching hockey with commercials is unbearable.
