Me too, this round I’m really interested in Bertuzzi and McSorley, the 2 guys who had the highest profile on ice incidents I can remember

Corson was definitely unlikeable, but he screwed the Oilers so he gets a pass from me.

McSorely v Bertuzzi is a tough early draw.

Bertuzzi Ruutu round one was almost even. One bad event vs hundreds if not thousands. I voted Ruutu top 5 worst pos players of all time imo.

Round 3 is here for 2 more days, we’ve now whittled out most of the easy votes. A couple tough choices here

Funny that we get Cooke vs Kane this round.

Right? The entire 2nd poll is all tough matchups. There isn’t a single matchup that will be a runaway

Well we had a tie last round, I’m not sure what poll tab uses for a tie breaker however they advanced one of the players into the next round. My best guess is that the tie breaker is total votes from previous rounds where Avery won out. Either way pretty cool.

There’s no dead weight at all anymore, I hope you all enjoy the last couple rounds.

I know the olympics have taken over the board these days but there’s 12 hours left in the semi finals before I combine the 2 polls.

Kesler VS Burrows
Matt Cooke VS Draisaitl

This would have been tough before Kesler was outed as a creepo creep, fitting in just fine with his American brethren.

Easy #1.

Looking at some of the voting results, some surprises! I have no issue with any of them.

Each player earned his way onto the list regardless of final position and deserves the votes and disrespect.

Finals are up! Matt Cooke and Ryan Kesler

https://www.polltab.com/bracket-poll/AeRjnilZgQIj2

It was a harder choice here than I was expecting, Cooke might be the biggest dirtbag to ever touch an NHL ice surface. The guys only notable accomplishments were injuring more talented players. Kesler on the other hand was actually a talented hockey player who was a crap disturber. He’s also a very gross individual with his recent actions away from the game.

Looking at the choices made me wonder if there isn’t an unintended generational divide. Lots of younger posters wouldn’t be familiar with the ######bags or outright casually violent players of the 70s-80s-90s.
