So you're telling me...that if a bunch of University Engineering Professors got together to design a bridge you would be reluctant to drive over it?

Stupid drivers continue to grind. Dumb ####er trying to run a red light a full 2 seconds after it changed to turn left into Chinook mall. Useless waste of skin.

Obviously i do that . But the water goes down but pills remain in the mouth and start dissolving and taste like ass.

Some kid snuck beer into this party. Fack. Wife losing her mind. Kid covered the ring camera with his hand as they walked in.

No, because the Technologists do all the actual work.

I don't understand that #### at all. Either you are a team or you are not. What kind of coach would allow that to happen? With everything that is coming out about these guys and they still allow #### like this to happen?

I am sorry to hear this.

My Father in Law is reading the Rick Westhead book. He says it is pretty bad. Hopefully, it helps to change things, but I doubt it.

The majority of the time... nope nope NOPE!!
One does not simply design a bridge.
They might be able to teach basic to advanced concepts but unless they've actually been properly educated and trained and worked under direct supervision of a senior PEng... nope. Besides, it's a team of specialists ranging from geotechnical to civil to mechanical.

Some are alright and usually consult on certain things.

I hate work from home for everyone but me. Friday someone was working from home, i need something, land package done and sent out but I know better. Absolute crickets. I am sure it is great for a select few but these folks are ruining it. Work from home means don't do anything that day.

Yup. I find the same. People treat WFH Fridays as a day off.

Nothing wrong with a self-enacted 4-day work week if all the work gets done anyway.

But at least you could stroll up to someone's desk and say hey, can you make this quick revision and get it back to me today and they'd follow through. Now you're sending a request into the ether that is ignored until Monday and then this five minute task is mixed in with the pile of all the others. You'll get it back on Thursday.

Ever since I've worked for myself at home, on Fridays, I always tell myself to put off the easy five minute tasks to Tuesday.

You could call the person

Though I do like the idea that the primary value from office work for most people seems to be that people can’t ignore them

I would. To leave a voicemail asking if they've received my email.
