Posting early just because I may be busy later. Again having a tough time finding what channel many events may be on but everything will be available on CBC Gem.

Mixed Doubles Curling Round Robin starts the day at 02:05. Canada faces Switzerland.

The Downhill Men’s Team Combined - Alpine Skiing begins at 02:30. The Slalom is at 06:00.

At 04:10 Japan faces Italy in Women’s Hockey, I think this will be on TSN.

The Final for Women’s Slopestyle Freestyle Skiing begins at 04:30. Naomi Urness and Megan Oldham are the Canadians who qualified and I think this may be on SNW.

Germany plays France in Women’s Hockey at 08:40.

At 09:00 Run 1 of the Women’s Singles Luge begins. Trinity Ellis and Embyr-Lee Susko are the Canadians. Run 2 should start around 10:35.

The Women’s 1000m Speed Skating starts at 09:30. Carolina Hiller-Donnelly, Rose Laliberte-Roy, and Beatrice Lamarche are the Canadians.

The Semifinals for the Mixed Doubles Curling will begin at 10:05.

At 11:00 the Men’s Individual Normal Hill Ski Jumping starts. Calgarian Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes is the Canadian. The Final should start at 12:12.

The Mixed Ice Dance Rhythm Dance starts at 11:20. Marie-Jade Lauriault and Romain Le Gac, Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha, and Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier are the Canadian pairs. I think this may be on SNW.

The Women’s Big Air Snowboard Final begins at 11:30.

At 12:40 Switzerland plays the usa in Women’s Hockey.

At 13:10 Canada (1-0) faces Czechia (0-2) in Women’s Hockey. I believe this will be on SN1 as well as CBC.

Goal line review in Japan-Italy women's hockey with an awkward angle. It was in!

Only two bronzes medals for a team of 200 athletes. Is this slow start unexpected?

I don't think we have really missed out on many expected medals. Mixed curling was hopeful and Bloeman in long track. Most of our Medal favorites are in short track speedskating and freestyle skiing.

Really there won't be much coming until probably Thursday. Tomorrow there is the short track mixed relay which I'm guessing we have a shot at since we're usually one of the top teams. Wednesday has the women's moguls finals which historically we've done well with but I have no idea if we're still competitive.

Thursday has men's moguls and snowboard cross and the first couple individual short track finals.

I feel like we have this discussion every 4 years. Generally, the sports that Canada is a favourite in don't wrap up until later in the Games.

Also, Canada is strong in team sports, which have long tournaments, many athletes, but few medals. The men's and women's hockey teams basically account for a quarter of the total number of athletes. The men's and women's curling teams are another 10.

5th in Women's 1000M for Lamarche
Was in bronze position until the final painting, so was fun.

Also engaged to Jake Paul... Who knew? I wonder how she feels about him being a MAGA loser.

GB getting crushed in the curling semifinals was a surprise. Mixed doubles so unpredictable.

Edit: Italy knocked out as well, 2 big upsets.

US coached by Kathy Overton Clapham, bit of redeption for her as she missed out on playing in the olympics in her career.

Hopefully Poulin is ok. Obviously a huge blow if she isn't, especially playing the US tomorrow.

The Swiss only down 1-0 to the US halfway through the 2nd period. Swiss goalie is amazing and not even the same as the one who played Canada!

Right leg. Didn’t look great. Didn’t return.
