Well, your anecdotal evidence is clearly superior to mine. And your pick is from June 2024 - they seem to be much quicker now to me. Of course, if you get there at a bad time it's going to be long.

Right now it's 108.9 which is not as good a discount as usual (because there's a few price wars going on elsewhere). But that's still 6 cents cheaper than the closest Safeway, and a dime cheaper than the closest Co-op (and Esso and Petrocan). Plus, you get membership money back eventually on the purchase, so you have to factor that in. I generally only go when I have to get something at Costco anyway, so it's not a big deal.

I used the gas bar at Costco in Okotoks at 11:30 am this morn and no lineups. Just pulled up to a pump and filled my car.

Selling an item on FB Marketplace; I've dropped the price from $80 to $50.

Enter random dimwit who offers me $35. I counter saying he can have the item for $40, he agrees on the price -- we have a deal.

Then he asks where I'm located; I reply I'm in the Beltline and ask when he wants to come pick it up. He replies he's in Kincora (narrator: James doesn't give a ѕhit where the buyer is), I ask again when he wants to come pick it up. He now expresses that he has the expectation that I will meet him somewhere to deliver the item. My ad explicitly says "no trades or delivery", but I have usually offered to deliver within city limits for expensive items *if* they're paying what I'm asking for on my listing. He then says if he has to come pick it up then he's back to his original price of $35.

After some futile back and forth, I drop a 1 star rating and use as much of the 720 character allowance as possible to tell people he's a bad faith negotiator and to avoid this person. Fuсk that guy.

^Winter floormats for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. A full set is worth $250 used in good shape (they're like $700+ new from the dealer). Mine are cheap because the passenger and rear floor mats are like-new but the driver mat has a small hole worn where the heel-pad in the driver's footwell is. Not the end of the world, but $50 is a very reasonable price. I've seen incomplete sets where the driver's mat is entirely missing sell for more than that.

No I meant from today. there are multiple gas stations at 115.9 and that costco is usually 14 to 16 cents below that.

It should have been around 99.9 today.

There is a Tempo on 26th by my place that I got 105 yesterday. They normally beat seven chiefs and costco and a trillion times closer. It usually piles up though. Not sure if doing loss leader stuff for new customer loyalty since taking over from Mohawk.
