What a shot.
Maybe have been spoiled a bit by Homan being so good the last few years, but some of this week has not been great shooting (or strategy).

Bad decision (in my opinion) by Sturmay gives Black a pair & the lead back in today's elimination game. The AB woman have played very good today though

The hook that they are getting on draws is awesome.
Good game.

Horrible start to the semi for AB....givin Einarson a 3 spot in the 2nd end is a bad strategy.

Question from a curling newbie. 7th end Canada and MB tied 2-2, CA with the hammer. Why wouldn't CA just blank the remaining ends and score one with the last rock of the 10th end to win?

With the 5 rock rule and the removal of the tick shot, it’s become a lot more difficult to blank. These days it’s quite tough to blank 3 ends in a row. They definitely want to play as conservatively as possible though.

So close there. Old Russ Howard knows what he is talking about, hitting a quarter rock and then another quarter rock. Hard to move it much.
Feel bad for Lawes. Lose once the entire week.
Tip your hat to Einarson for forcing the extra. What a shot.

Yeah you have to hit that thinner than you think you do. Very close though
Great final

That shot left absolutely margin for error. Lawes was close but it needed to be absolutely perfect to work and it was barely there at all.

The Brier has started.
Two teams playing each other, both with just 3 players.
The PEI team has been playing with 3 for a while now, the guy couldnt afford to be away from work.
Team Jacobs is missing Hebert due to an illness.
