A bike rack on any car you like makes sense to me.

I see why I was confused. I just looked at their membership and you are right that they have guaranteed spots but not reserved spots but they do offer year round trailer storage so you can leave your stuff up there just not set up on site.

Anyone ever gotten rid of a trailer that was of no value to sell? Our trailer, unfortunately, gained some unwelcome squatters of the rodent variety the past couple months, and once we go in and remove everything we can, if the infestation is bad enough we may just get rid of it. It's over 30 years old, so it's on the low end of value anyways. Just not sure we're going to be able to reclaim it enough to sell.

Landfill will take RVs (assuming no motor). You'd have to pay for disposal but that might be better than trying to spend a bunch of time cleaning it and then it doesn't sell anyway...

Young Farts RV Parts!
They sell used parts. How do they get used parts? They buy your used RV!

I have never sold anything to them but they're on my mind as my 5th wheel is getting old. I have successfully purchased from them though.

Lots of people will take them and tear them down into flatbed trailers or turn them into ice fishing shacks or something. Just list it as free or for a super low price and you’ll have a lineup of people willing to take it.

Need to store our small trailer in a storage lot over the winter. We've traditionally stored it at our house, but need somewhere else this winter.
Reasonably close to Calgary is preferred. Any suggestions?

All you can do is call around. You will likely have to get on a waiting list at this point. We were on three waiting lists in August and finally got a spot at the end of that month. Just east of Okotoks. The fact that it's a small trailer should help.

You’re gonna need a bigger truck.
My sister & husband had various sizes over the years and enjoyed them but every upgrade was heavier than the last one. He had an extended hitch built for towing their motorcycle trailer. Otherwise truck&camper is like a motorhome - you have to pack up camp to go touring.

yep, well familiar with the payload demand, my work truck is a superduty 1ton.
Short listed to 13-18 cummins; 12-19 superdutys; no bowtie disco parties.
May go dually, preferably an 8 footer.
