Not a flex no. Just a video I thought was worth posting. It’s a pretty good accomplishment for a small market hockey franchise. Certain if it were the flames, it would be posted on here.

What I'll never forget about Edmonton from my time there is that Oilers radio runs 365 days days a year, Oiler talk all the time. There is really nothing to do in that city.

I watched the highlights and on two occasions I witnessed what could only be classified as a miracle...Draisaitl parked in front of his own net in some sort of loose facsimile of a 'backcheck.'

He is there. Standing in front of his own net. Hes not doing anything of any particular value or note, but his body exists in that space. Which is a start.

However it should be noted, both times they were promptly scored upon. But he tied Messier for goals for an Oiler or some such nonsense, so he's got that going for him...which is nice.
