I'm like Xzibit. I get insurance for my insurance. My credit card has insurance for a car rental? Fk that, I'm buying the car rental company's insurance, too. I always feel like there are going to be loopholes that will bankrupt my family and ruin all the planning and saving I've done my whole life so I insure everything like crazy.

They had zippos aplenty. They had cool, probably illegal knives too.
Don't remember Tropicana specifically, but there was also a store called Charisma that had butterfly knives and switchblades sold without the spring, but they would just give you the spring which was a sort of tapered metal rod.

I stopped at two gas stations to find lighter fluid today, first guy at Co-op was like nope, 7-Eleven has it. The guy and the woman at 7-Eleven didn't even know what I was talking about, and told me butane was the same thing just a different brand. I'll hit one of those smoke shops in every mall next week.

Still no sign of that super cool foldy knife I had as a kid.
?? Go to a Canadian tire, Walmart or hardware store for lighter fluid?

I remember zippo tricks and then migrating to pen tricks.

My youngest has had his birthday party yesterday and he was such a good little host. Started off with a movie and without any prompting he went around to all his friends asking what they wanted for snacks, and then came and told us their “orders” and brought it back to them. After that he handed out water bottles to everyone. And if someone ran out of popcorn or what not he’d ask if they wanted more.

TRT makes me happy. Get your levels checked fellas. I'm only a month into it and I feel like a completely new person. My T levels were very low for a 36 year old and I'm guessing they've been low since around 30.

I honestly thought I just sucked. I thought everyone was just better at dealing with life than me and that I was just lazy, despite feeling like I was putting so much effort in to achieving so little. The best way to describe it is that I felt like I had to drag myself everywhere. Drag myself out of bed, drag myself to work, drag myself to the kitchen to make dinner or to play with the kids. I thought that was normal and everyone else was just better than me at doing it.

In 2 weeks everything changed. I'm on a very low dose of TRT (get checked again in 2 more months to dial in the right dosage) and I feel like I just woke up. I have energy! More than enough to go to work, clean the house, play with my kids, communicate with my wife. I did 75 hard last year, and hated every single ####ing workout. A few weeks into TRT, working out is amazing and energizing as opposed to draining and exhausting.

Seriously feels like I'm starting a new chapter in my life.

I dont know if anyone reads my nonsense. My young engg got his p.Eng so i took him out for a beer. Tells me the boss, who i quit Becaue of, has has numerous complaints by HR. He was nasty to people and it didnt sit well. Hes now on a performance plan.

I should not be this happy about this. I told you 8 months ago but I went about it poorly. I am definitley smiling, just a small sense of vindication.

Back in the early 2000's I was diagnosed with Andropause - low male testosterone. Since that time I've been getting monthly injections of testosterone in my buttocks. It improved my energy levels, plus it helped to improve my metabolism. A game changer for sure and I agree with you that it's something everyone should get checked for.

You definitely want to go through your doctor for this. Oral supplements aren't effective. I know a guy injecting it, and he asked if I wanted to get started. Well, he orders it from some random site on the internet, mixes it with water and injects it. No thank you.

There are side effects to watch out for, and I guess once you start, quitting causes other issues. Good interview on it here:

Toast with mayo, sliced tomatoes, pepper and salt, and a fried egg on top makes me happy. With a hot cup of coffee on the side.

Switched to a cage 6 games ago. Played my entire adult life with a visor….

Weird play, full ####ing face plant with full weight on my face… 7 games ago I bet I would have lost 4 front teeth. Instead, just a busted up top lip. Holy ####, I’m lucky and happy.

You should sue for constructive dismissal.
