They needed to scratch him one more time before the Olympic break so he can be sent down during the break. A player can only be sent down if he hasn't played in 16 of his team's final 20 games before the break. After today, he can play both games next week and max out at 15.

The broadcast post Rick Ball and Millen (RIP) is mostly unlistenable at the best of times but York is pretty good with some proper analysis.

In this case saying what Bahl did wrong by being a bit too deep and thus not able to intercept the pass across.

Other analysis would be a “beautiful play by San Jose” or “San Jose just wants it more”

Preventing the pass across is a huge part of the PK. Usually Bahl is great at it.
