2. As one of the game's purest playmakers he requires the talent around him that can finish plays off with consistency
3. He has proven to be an elite powerplay producer while playing on the left half wall/starting LD position

Things we know about the Calgary Flames.
1. We are/play as the slowest team in the NHL (NHL edge stats confirm this)
2. We have the worst finishing rates in the NHL (lowest SH%)
3. We have the 31st ranked PP in the NHL and converted the player to a being a net front presence

My conclusion? It appears that everything that Huberdeau was good at prior to arriving here - the flames have been and continue to be terrible at.

They're facts about what Huberdeau accomplished before coming to Calgary, and pretty accurate descriptions of how he did it.

And when his dangerous pass can't result in goals, usually it would become turnovers, and our coach would bench such players, maybe that's also the reason he became power forward. even not score, less risk either.

Most players' points would drop after traded to Flames. first flames don't have the talents to inflate each other's points. also flames were playing defensive or less goal games for a long time, and definitely have a system causing less points.

Looks like McKenna's strength are also dangerous pass, don't think he could also transfer to power forward. considering the talent Flames already have like Zayne is also offensive player, maybe it's time to change the system to developing, fit players other than squeeze them into the system and became nobody. fire the coach for McKenna! only if we could out tanking Canuks

His passes suck. If your passes either go into skates or result in constant turnovers thats not on 'the receiver' who never got the pass.
