Also just occurred me the wild are hosting a game tonight, so I looked at their social media, and there are definitely a few comments complaining that they are moving forward with the game and saying nothing.

Courtesy of Hugo Boss I believe.

Hugo Boss did not design the Nazi uniforms, but his company produced them. As a dedicated Nazi Party member and supplier, his factory manufactured uniforms for the SA, SS, and Hitler Youth, utilizing forced labor during WWII. The iconic black SS uniforms were designed by Karl Diebitsch and Walter Heck.
Key details regarding the relationship:
Production, Not Design: Hugo Boss's company was one of many suppliers that manufactured Nazi uniforms, including the black SS, brown SA, and Hitler Youth uniforms.
Designers: The black SS uniforms were designed by SS-Oberführer Karl Diebitsch and graphic designer Walter Heck in 1932.
Nazi Affiliation: Hugo Boss was a registered member of the Nazi Party as of 1931 and a self-described admirer of Adolf Hitler.
Forced Labor: During the war, the company used 140 forced laborers from Poland and the Soviet Union, along with 40 French prisoners of war.

Yup, if you don't like what's happening in the US or what Trump is doing to the world in general but you're still vacationing in that ####hole you need to give your head a shake...like a hard paint shake.

Wonder if Wild fans chant a couple of things in unison since im sure the team wont acknowledge the tragedy of what happened.

(Even though we know it would be funded and run verrrrry differently in that circumstance)
Well when the government went in to clean up the Waco mess and save those children from being sexually abuse the right wing 2nd amendment types lost their minds and blew up a building in Oklahoma City so I think we have some idea how they would react if a Democratic government used government force in any way (justified or not).

This is how effed up that 5th world country is. Other than executing a citizen in broad daylight, why is an ICU nurse carrying a gun?

Why would any Canadian even consider moving down there?

I've noticed whenever I see that dork Gregory 'Bovine' Bovino parading around the streets of Minneapolis in his little Nazi outfit while his ICE gestapo terrorize civilizians that he's never wearing any sort of helmet.

Just an observation, I wonder if anyone in MN has made that observation. Would be a shame if anything came out of that observation....

Ahead of the last US election, many were accused of painting and exaggerating a dystopian future under Trump.

From my recollection, not even the most negative of people feared or predicted anything as bad as this.

“More income and less taxes”. ####, move to Dubai or something at this point if that’s the entirety of your moral fibre.

You're exaggerating, America has checks and balances. It won't go that far. That's just TDS. Etc etc

Before November 2024 my wife and I were debating dropping the kids off at the grandparents and spending a few days in Vegas. Planning out the summer family vacation we were going to look into New York.

Needless to say we haven't been to the US in the Trump era.

I'd love to go on a cruise but I refuse to leave from a US port.

Not now.

Back in September of 2024 some friends and I got one last U.S. trip in before the election, and we spent a wonderful few days in and around San Francisco. I haven’t set foot in that dystopian hell hole ever since.

It’s too bad, because I still have many American destinations that are on my travel bucket list like NY, Chicago, New Orleans, Yosemite, etc…But unless there’s a big regime change in 2028 (not likely), I’m never crossing that border ever again. It’s a big world out there and there are plenty of friendlier, safer countries to visit. I have a trip to Ireland planned for later this year. I’ve never been, and I can’t wait.

Condemning the prejudgment that MAGA applied to him, like that he was a domestic terrorist?

I'd love to go back and spend time in San Diego, it's my fave city; I absolutely love Pacific Beach, the laid back lifestyle, and California in general. That said, I'm never going back across that border either until the federal fascist regime is gone and this period in political turmoil is long over. Could be many years yet.

On the flip side, I cannot wait to give my travel money to the rest of Canada and the world. Planning a driving trip through NB/PEI/NS this summer over a couple weeks, and I'm absolutely stoked.

Protest all you want if that’s your thing. Just don’t interfere and you have nothing to worry about.

I go to the US all the time(I was born in SD), it's no more dystopian than Canada. Actually, if you want to see a dystopia, check out the UK, where people are arrested for wrong think on Twitter.
I was thinking of going on a trip to my ancestral homelands in Sweden and England, but their countries have no-go zones, terrorist attacks, knife crime, etc. Rather just go to the US because its closer.
