Kadri has no interest in passing, so agree he’s a poor fit for Coronato.
I think it has started out ok with gridin because the kid likes to make quick passes. He’s not only a shooter.

I'll be watching to see if Huberdeau is moving his feet which is what Huska said he needed to do to get his game going. In Huberdeau's interview on the same day, when asked what he needed to do, he made no reference that sounded similar to what Huska was saying he needed to do. I'm curious whether Huberdeau is not getting or accepting the message.

I'm wondering whether Huberdeau's feet are getting the message from his brain. He may be trying to write cheques that his body can't cash.

Agreed. Don’t care for Kadri with Coronato. Honestly didn’t like Kadri slamming his stick in frustration at the end of the 2nd period last game when Zary carried the puck up the ice instead of giving it to Kadri. He’s a competitive guy which is good but I don’t like discouraging young skilled players from trying to drive plays - especially since Zary has been regaining his confidence and has been doing more of that and doing a good job at it.
It’s actually interesting to me that in all the combinations of lines we have seen over the last two years… the last time I can remember Zary on a line with Coronato (outside of the powerplay) is in the 3-on-3 overtime early last season against Montreal. Why has Zary with Coronato never been given a real look over the last year? Seems like every single possible combination of forward lines has been tried except for that. If it has been attempted since then, I must have missed it or it must not have been given much time.

I don't know the why, but I don't remember Zary with Coronato this season. I think they tried Zary - Frost - Coronato in preseason, but that's about it.
Huska mostly reverted to 3 pairings for something like ¾ of the games this season:
Farabee - Kadri
Huberdeau - Frost
Coleman - Backlund
Then he plugged in one of Coronato, Sharangovich, Zary, Honzek, Gridin, Kerins, and Klapka.

Fun looking lineup. Any way that anyone knows to watch this in japan? I’ve got SN+ but of course it’s georestricted, ####ing SN.
