I’ve said I’m not big on Poitras but what the hell do I know!

(I rather like that paper. It may be biased as hell on domestic politics, for all I know, but it's remarkably even-handed about world news, and still does old-fashioned stuff like check its sources.)

Poitras is also very young (21!), and put up those stats at the age of 19-20 (he hasn't played for the Bruins this year).
I thought he was older. That he's way younger than I thought tells me there's a lot of untapped potential there.
If he's coming back along with a pick in the top half of this 1st round I like that move a lot from Conroy.

I completely agree. He's a guy that looks ripe for a change of scenery rebound.

Poitras makes more sense from Boston's pov. Most contenders don't want to trade productive players off their roster. (Yet alone 2 on one trade.)

The Leafs pick seems a lot more valuble now than it did last season when the Leafs were considered a cup contender (I know I know)

100%. "Things head heated up”: Insider believes Calgary Flames will finally trade for Rasmus Andersson". The rest of the article is also just AI translated mumbo jumbo with real quotes, lol.

From a Bruins angle is this a good deal...IDK seems like a really bad one to help them stay mid

Anything that puts salt in Treliving's cereal (Toronto's pick landing in 7th-12th territory) is ####ing gravy to me.

Well. It's been a long weird ride with you all on this journey.
And I can confidently say that 99 percent of us are probably extremely happy they didn't trade Andersson to Dallas or LVK..
Congrats Bruins. Take good care of Andersson. He's great.
Can't wait to see Poitras line up in a Flames jersey.
Also can't wait to hopefully take Viggo Bjorck with this incoming pick!!
