Probably just timing. Royle doesn't post late, Sec is hit or miss for late posting depending on the day, Dissentowner usually knows more generalities of lists of teams/players being discussed than day by day immanent details.

The Times of India is even reporting on the story!
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/.../126584905.cms
(I rather like that paper. It may be biased as hell on domestic politics, for all I know, but it's remarkably even-handed about world news, and still does old-fashioned stuff like check its sources.)

Poitras is the RH C Conroy has been chasing. So makes sense

Being about 0.4 PPG in the NHL at 19-20 then PPG in the AHL prior to this year shows that there is promise.
He could just be frustrated/discouraged at being kept down on the farm after a couple of pretty good seasons.
Seems like an enticing change of scenery candidate. As does Lohrei.

Poitras has the same NHL points in less games at a younger age
It can be an opinion but there is no statistics to back it up as factual

Their headline writer is obviously not a hockey fan. The actual article is better, and mostly cites LeBrun.

What’s interesting is that Poitras has produced at a higher rate in the NHL so far, 26 points in 66 games for Poitras, versus 26 points in 73 games for Minten. I think Poitras could be a good buy low candidate here, as SuperMatt18 said previously.

The Times of India is widely perceived as biased, with multiple independent fact-checking sources rating it as Right-Center Biased or Lean Right.
Media Bias/Fact Check rates it as Right-Center Biased (2.9/5) and Mixed for factual reporting (5.1/10), citing a pro-Narendra Modi tone, emotionally loaded language, and a tendency to favor the ruling BJP. They also note four failed fact checks
In summary, while The Times of India remains a widely circulated and influential publication, its bias toward right-wing politics and corporate interests is a consistent concern across multiple sources.

Yep, checks out nicely, for you, for sure. Find better sources, my man

I mean development is not a straight line...who knows if that is even the deal just saying the stats are comparable.
Its the NHL a lot has to do with opportunity...whoever is coming in will likely get a really good one

FWIW, DSB is now replying to others on Twitter saying trade will be announced in the morning, which probably shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Montgomery loved Poitras
Sturm seems to like Minten more.
Personally I really like Poitras as a buy low candidate here, think he was discouraged by not making the team out of camp this year.
A trade could rejuvenate him a bit.
