Maybe he'll be so excited about his new team he'll have to use the Rasmus Handersson

If you were in Anderssons spot, which location would you pick if you had to?
I’d take San Jose

If he's stuck on the "Raiders of the Red Sea" mission on AOE: IV like me that could take the whole flight even with delays.

Yep, San Jose over any of the rumoured destinations. California weather and northern Cali next door? Yes please. Boston maybe second, that could be a fun place to live and play in.

As long as their practice facility isn't near that electrical plant hurting all the 49ers

I don't see much difference between him and Danielson TBH. Poitras is only 6 months older
Poitras:
Age - Mar. 10 2004
NHL - 26 points in 66 NHL Games (0.39 P/GP)
AHL - 61 points in 74 AHL Games (0.82 P/GP)
OHL - 145 points in 131 OHL Games (1.11 P/GP)
Danielson
Age - Sept. 27 2004
NHL - 7 points in 28 NHL games (0.25 P/GP)
AHL - 46 points in 79 AHL games (0.59 P/GP)
OHL - 217 points in 199 WHL games (1.09 P/GP)

Boston is easier travel to Sweden. My only thought there. Same with Detroit.
San Jose is nicer. Boston I don’t think is a good choice from a hockey perspective. They feel like they are trying to retool and will crash.

|
If nothing breaks by then, we’ll reconvene once he finishes his media scrum as Rasmus Answersson. If there’s still no movement, we’ll check back once he’s seated at the team dinner answering the bill as Rasmus Appetizersson. Still not trade? Final checkpoint comes when he finally lays his head down tommorow, officially entering rest mode as Rasmus Slumbersson.

I've been saying Sharks for ages. Even if they did trade Misa, that team is stacked with prospects and set to contend for a decade.
Stars and Knights might be stronger today but I would be less sure that they can maintain for the length of Andersson's contract, especially as these younger teams (Sharks, Ducks, Blackhawks) rise up in the West.

ignoring the hockey aspect, I'd probably go to Boston or San Jose. Hockey-wise, Detroit would be pretty enticing.

Toolkit is a bit more enticing for sure, bigger and a better skater.
Results wise though - it's pretty similar with Poitras having the edge actually.

Poitras' trajectory worries me a bit though. Had a great D+1 year in the OHL, made the NHL at 19, then had shoulder surgery, now going through a sophomore slump in the AHL. Time is still on his side of course.
