Flames defeat Chicago 3-1
No tank tonight.
Gotta hand it to the Flames. They keep it competitive, and put in a solid effort for the most part, no matter what sort of roster they put out there. Unlike certain other teams. Not often it's an 'easy' game against the Flames win or lose. Something to be proud of with this team at least.
Cooley solid again.

I did not have Devin Cooley turning into a really capable goaltender on my bingo card for this year. In fact, i didn't think he'd be the back-up at all. Great story.

Bad win. Chicago could pass us soon in Mission McKenna.
Need to have a good losing streak

No Coleman tonight. Two rookie D. And Kadri and Huberdeau continue to struggle.
Team plays great and gets the win.
I’m ready for a full on youth movement amongst the forwards and all the ups and downs that come with it.

I think they will start to pick up some wins. They had Bedard out and then a flu going through the team. They will start to get some points again.
Vancouver though? Yikes.

Who needs a rebiggle when Backlund is a 25 year old superstar?

Nope. They committed to the other guy long term at something like 7 million per
It’s interesting. 7 games in 2026 so far. Wolf has started 5 and given up 4 goals every game. Cooley has started twice and has given up 1 goal both times.

Wow, I came here to say 8 points in the last 10 for Zary, but that is even better!

Cooley is legitimately one of the best goalies in the NHL this year.
Small sample size, obviously. But let the man have his day in the sun.

Unrelated to tonight's game, but I only just pulled the clip:
Link
After Beecher's revenge KO on McCarron for all the cheapshots to start the fight against Beecher, the immediate reactions by Sharangovich, Frost, Coleman, and Klapka are all great.
