I know Dallas has been trying hard to get this over the finish line for a while now, that would be my bet. I have not heard anything still about the Wings myself. I have heard Toronto has had plenty of dialogue but the ask is high, like Cowan + Danford + draft pick high. I don't think Toronto does that and can probably do Hamilton cheaper. Boston is also very interested. I think Dallas is the West team and Boston and Toronto are the East teams.

Listening to Flames talk right now.

Pat mentioned several teams that he heard are in on Andersson :
BOS, DAL, VGK, DET.

They're talking as though the trade discussions have intensified, and they wouldn't be surprised if the trade was done in the next 48hrs, or by the end of the week.

So it pretty much confirms everything here.

Sharks aren't willing to trade for him as a rental. Other teams are willing to make the deal without that. Sharks have an offer ready if he committed to re-signing. They had chats with New Jersey about Hamilton and another eastern conference team as well.

The wait bodes well. Extension return has to be exceeding rental return or they would have just pulled the trigger already, and now we're in extension negotiation stage.

Anyone's guess on the prospect. My guess on the pick would be a conditional 3rd, being a function of how deep they go in the playoffs.
